Introduction
Conferences have some unique features based on being able to have a Timetable of subsevents.
Allowing Attendees To Register for Subevents – Event Info Screen
The “Subevents” section allows you to set up your conference to allow attendees to select which sub-events during their registration. By default all of the following settings are off so the Conference Timetable will be visible and attendees registration would just be for the Conference itself. Use the following settings if you wish to have attendees register for sub-events.
“Require Attendees to select Subevents” – The subevent selection will happen during the registration.
“Users can update subevent submissions” – Allow attendees to change their subevent selection after their initial selection at registration. Attendees can make edits from the My Sessions section of the event page.
“Update subevent only within the registration window” – Changes to their subevent selection can only occur during the registration window, if the registration window setting is in use.
Timetable
The Timetable tab on the admin event page is where you setup your timeslots, streams and sub-events.
